FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Radio Frequency & Ultrasonic Cavitation)

  • ARE RADIO FREQUENCY / ULTRASONIC CAVITATION TREATMENTS SAFE?
Yes. These treatments are absolutely safe. Slight swelling or redness of the skin may occur after treatments, however, this should go away within a few hours. Additionally, Ultrasonic Cavitation may cause you to experience a buzzing sensation in your ears and Radio Frequency could cause you to have some mild discomfort from the heat during your session.
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO AVOID BEFORE MY TREATMENT?
To experience adequate results, avoid alcohol before and after the day of your treatment.
  • CAN I EXERCISE AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Yes, exercise is excellent prior to and after your treatment, and we highly recommend it. It is very beneficial to complete a 30-45 minute workout within 24 hours after your session.
  • SHOULD I DRINK A LOT OF WATER BEFORE MY TREATMENT?
Yes, it is crucial that you are hydrated for optimal results. Drink at least 2 liters of water before your treatment and another 2 liters in the day after your treatment to assist in the flushing out of waste from the body.
  • HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED TO SEE RESULTS?
Individual results will vary. Many clients see results immediately after their first session and may visualize an even further change within the following three days. Research has shown that most clients require around 5-7 sessions, or more in some cases, to achieve optimal results. While these treatments can reduce fat and help to speed up the weight loss process when done in conjunction with diet and exercise, they are not a weight loss solution. These treatments help to reduce those stubborn fatty areas that don’t respond to diet or exercise. They also help with skin tightening on the body and face, as well as, wrinkle reduction.
  • ARE THE RESULTS LONG-TERM?
The results are maintained, especially when combined with exercise and proper nutrition. However, we cannot stop the natural aging that affects your appearance. For this reason, we recommend maintenance visits.
  • HOW OFTEN CAN YOU PERFORM TREATMENTS?
We recommend scheduling body treatments on a weekly basis, with a 7 day minimum waiting period between treatments. Additionally, we recommend scheduling facial treatments 25-30 days apart.
